Dears

I want to import the exported file from Oracle 9.2.0.1 into oracle 8.1.6. It is giving me the error IMP-00010.

Is it that i can not import the file exported from the higher version in oracle?? If not, then give me the solution for the same. If yes, then what i have to do to minimize my work.

It is urgent.

use lower version of imp to import.
else
run catexp.sql of higherversion against the lower version.
from 9i machine login as sys to the 8i database.
run $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catexp.sql
