Hi,

I have some clarifications to discuss with you.

First:
I have installed .NET & ORACLE in my system. My problem is, in .NET, WEB APPLICATIONS is not connecting with the localhost. Regarding this I jus came to know from my friend that localhost involves in sharing the ports, Since I installed ORACLE, I am unable to run the web applications. How to share the ports..?

Second:
After Successful installation of Windows XP OS, What are the folders I Can find..? My friend told that, a folder named IPCONFIG will be present if the installation ends successfully. But I didnt find that folder.

Third:
I have to use the front end in .NET & back end as ORACLE. How to achieve this..?

Waiting for your reply..

Satyan.

Pls do specify what error you are getting there.

Too ambiguous a question. You are searching what folders for what purposes. Do mention this as well. If installation didn't gave any errors, why are you doubting on it.

Haven't used .net framework as yet. But my bet is you need to have Oracle, .net framework & necessary ODBC components for interface between .net & oracle installed.
