Nitin, information is little less. What was thr in ur DB_1/DBS directory?
>> R u able to access Oracle and all its executables like dbca, netmgr, netca etc.?
if yes, then no reinstallation is needed.
>> R u able to connect to ur database ?
check it out. and try to elaborate the scenario, such as what problem u r facing after losing this directory ?
