Hi
My database listner is currently configured in default port 1521
due to security audit i want to change the port number,i am running a no of clients,kindly tell me where i have to make the changes and what will be the repurcussions

edit the listener.ora. change the port
all clients should edit the configuration files (tnsnames.ora or JDBC connect strings) to reflect the change in port.

i am using web applications which are connected to my oracle database my web server is IIS,is any change required there

Same answer.
Your webapplications talk to oracle using a host connect string or jdbc or tnsnames.ora.
You need to change these.
