I have never installed Oracle7.3 and I beleive this is a character based install (lowest version I installed was 8.0.5 and this was char based). Are you sure you want to install 7.3 ??

Oracle 9.2 is a simple install. Oracle has the new Universal Installer (Full Java) and it is very GUI and needs X-Windows. The install is like any windows application install with wizard. Since this is a full Java install, the install is exactly same in Windows, AIX, Sun or SCO for that matter. All screens are the same. So Google Oracle 9.2 install and you have your docs.

Or even better, install a Windows Oracle 9.2 to get the feel.

BTW, when you said install, I presumed that you wanted to install the binaries, not create databases.

Later.
