i'm not experienced in db export/import procedures, but was assigned to move the DB data from Linux to Solaris..

can anyone help me out on this.. any documents to read or impt instructions... to ease my 'fear'..

Read the Import/Export FAQ and the Oracle Utilities guide.

Also, ask for a test environment to test your procedures before the final migration.

If you run into problems, post them here.
