pls explain me how to detect tablespace fragmentation ?

And method to resolve it.

i have already done that bt didnt get the proper answer. Most of the people are telling, hw to resolve fragmentation ?

but i wanted to know hw to check whether a tablespace is fragmented.

Hi Girish,


I used the command ,

SQL> ALTER TABLESPACE tablespace_name COALESCE;

& it worked.
