I am using oracle 8i 1.7 on windows 2000.

Problem is My temp tablespace is full now

How to freeing up space from temp tablespace

please help

HI

What is the error that you are getting becuase of this? For this error, do check the alert log for database.
If no error, its not an issue, while if error is there, u may need to make temp tablespace bigger.

Girish is right, we'd need to see the error. But the temp tablespace isn't something you manage, oracle does. So you don't free space from it. You make it as big as you need based on your workload and activity.

And you really should invest time in reading the concepts guide.
