Hi,
We are using Oracle 8i now.
We are planning to upgrade to Oracle 10g.
Do we need more than one server for Oracle 10g or is one server enough?
If we can use only one server, is it going to be effiicent?

Also will Developer 6i(Forms 6i & Reports 6i) work with
Oracle 10g?
If so, do we need to install Oracle Application Server we are using ORacle9i or ORacle 10g with Developer 6i?
(I am not sure if this is a silly question.)

Regards,
Shailaja

If your server has enough resources to handle both databases, you can have it.
Developer 6i should work.
application server is used when you want to host the application to web with oracle tools.
