Hello,
I have a Windows2000 PC with Oracle8i client software installed along with an ODBC driver. I want to install an Oracle9i ODBC driver but i need to install the Oracle9i client (9.2.0.1.0)software first. Can i have Oracle8i and Oracle9i client software installed together on my PC or do i need to remove the Oracle8i first (i'd like to keep the Oracle 8i software if possible as we've still got Oracle8i databases).
Thanks.

You can have both in the same PC.
Just install them in different directories.

Yes, you can install both. You will see some entries in the registery about both installed. and you can even switch between both to use either one.
