Hi
I would like to know the purpose of the option "Control Value"
in FSG .I understand that control values are used while producing
reports based on budgeted balances Razz . I am not able to
generate reports using PTD-Budgeted Balances

This's purpose to include budgets and multiple currencies in a report and used also to assign encumbrances to a financial report.You cannot enter currencies in the report definition if the report does not contain a row and/or column set with a currency control value. You must specify a budget when your report includes rows or columns which use related amount types such as PTD-Budget
