Hello,
i have got an quite strange Problem and hope someone here can help me.
If i shutdown a database an the start it up again, i get the following error Message:
ORA-12514:TNS:listener could not resolve SERVICE_NAME given in connect descriptor. When I then restart the Windows service of the database, everything is running fine again until I shutdown the database again. Any Ideas?
I'm using a 9.2 Standard Edition One running multiple Oracle Instances, the problem affects all of them.
Thanks in advance, Sven

Your database services are not started properly after the reboot.
configure them to autotstart in control panel / services.

Just to avoid misunderstandings, I just shutdown the database via SQLPLUS or Oracle Enterprise Manager. When I try to startup the Database I get this error. I don't restart the Server at all.
I added the listener.ora, I'll add sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora in different replys

Assuming you are on the latest patched version of 9.2? What version exactly?
