Execuse me.i am a chinese student and in china.
Recently i try to anlayze the aix oracle's redo log files in order to monitoring the activity of the database just in time.
i have kownn how to do it by using the logmnr tool. What i have done are as below.
1.For the purpose of not influencing the aix oracle 's performance,i copy it's several redo log files to another machine whose operating system is windows xp. The reason why i choose the windows xp is that the gui development is very easy in the operating system.
2.But the oracle for windows xp cann't identify those redo log files produced by oracle for aix.I think ,maybe the redo log file format is not same.
3.if the oracle for windows xp can understand those files.Next,i can analyze them by using the logmnr tool. And i can develope a gui application by visual c++ or C++ builder.that is not very hard.
so,the problem is that how i can convert the redo log file in aix oracle format to one in windows xp oarcle format.
If you konw ,please reply or send me e-mails,songboo520box-1@yahoo.com.cn.
