Hi,

Look at the "init.ora" file in your ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory to get a feel for the parameters. This file document "typical" parameter values required for a SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE sized database.

After your database is up and running you can start monitoring the system and consider adjusting parameters based on the workload characteristics of the system.

Best regards.

Frank
