I have production db 8.1.6.3.0 and I install STATSPACK with scripts taht I found in ?\rdbms\admin\ directory (statscre.sql,stats%). Also use statsrep.sql for creating report from snapshots. But I'm not complete satisfied with result (dont have sprepsql.sql, number of executions in LoadProfile etc...)
So I want to use newer version of statspack like in 9i with spcreate.sql script for creation and spreport.sql,sprepsql.sql, Execute/Parse ratio for report. Is it possible to use those scripts for creation and reporting in my 8.1.6.3.0 db?

I'm not sure if Oracle 8i's statpack would be compatible with 9i or not. It would be quite easy to test on a development box. Unfortunately I don't have any 8i databases, so I cannot test it for you. If you do, please let us know the results.
