Greetings,
I have been working with Oracle9i on the Windows 2000 and XP platforms. Now I am wanting to install on the Server 2003 platform. But I noticed that the download for Oracle9i for Server 2003 is quite a bit different. It is lighter by several hundreds of MB. Does anyone know what it is missing?
Eric

Hmmm... so you actually did the download, and all you got was a patch? That's very interesting, because it is not presented that way on the Oracle website. It is presented as a full download. The only reason I even had any question about it is because the size is so different from the version that I have always used for XP and Windows2000. I think my best solution for right now is to just use the version I have always been using, becuase I am quite sure it will work. But it really has be curious.

Actually, I am beginning to think you're right about that. Thing is, I am almost positive I have run the XP/2000 version on 2003 before without difficulty. Of course, I was using it in a test lab, not on a production server, so I could easily have missed something. Hmmm....well, let me know if you hear anything.
