During the period of installing the oracle9i,My Os(win2003server) use to say"could not find My IP address"!,I ignored it!But Finally I found it is failure to config the "Oracle DB Configurationt Assistant " ,there is an Exception
about "Java.lang.NullPointerException..."
I have no idea!Please give me a hand! 3ks!

HI
Hv u configured any IP on ur machine?
Hv u got some firewall installed on your machine?
I Faced the same issue, when using firewall. It wasn't allowing any pgms to access the IP of my machine. HAd to shut it down before proceeding with installation.
