Hi,
The best way would be to stop running queries. All queries use cursors implicitly or explicitly.
That said, watch out that you don't do multiple selects when only one is required. For example:
Rather do -
SELECT SYSDATE, USERNAME FROM dual;
than -
SELECT SYSDATE FROM dual;
SELECT USERNAME FROM dual;
