Hey guys,

Is there any free alernatives to Oracle 8i? Something that uses the same commands, but is free.

Or is Oracle 8i available free or really cheap on student prices?

Oracle 8i is obsolete and no longer available. However, you can download Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g for free, as long as you are just using it for practice and development and do not deploy with it. Just click on the link below and select what you want to download. If you have limited hard drive and memory on your system, you may want to download 9i instead of 10g. I also recommend using the provided link on that page to download getright first, as it will speed up the Oracle download process significantly.
