Hi to all,

I am trying to upgrade my redhat linux 9 by compiling the kernel 2.6.10 on my PC. I get the following errors:

depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.6.10-skim-ch6/kernel/net/bridge/netfilter/ebt_mark.ko

Similar errors for all the other modules like ebt_dnat, ebt_ip ....

I am unable to use the options about which I am getting these errors.

What is wrong?

Hi to all,

Got the answer from the ebtables mailing list..thought I would share it with you.

We need to install the userspace tool for ebtables, obtainable from http://ebtables.sourceforge.net

That's all..
