I am trying to import a db, gets the following message. any ideas? (export & import have the same characrer set..)

Export file created by EXPORT:V08.01.07 via conventional path
import done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and WE8ISO8859P1 NCHAR character set
IMP-00069: Could not convert to environment national character set's handle
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

I am patching 8.1.7.4.50 this weekend. It has fixes for NLS stuff.
Where are you running the import from? From OS/390 or some client box?

1. Export the data with the Export utility of the lowest database version involved.
2. Import the data with the Import utility of the target database.

This solves the problem

Please somebody give me the solution. (both database have same version, the one from which database exported and the one in which i m trying to import)
