Intelligent agent not starting [message #111646]

Hi all,

I am trying to start the intelligent agent, it's not starting and it's not throwing any error.

[oracle@wipdwh oracle]$ agentctl start

Hi,

This is a known problem with 9.2.0.4 (bug 3238244). The solution is to apply patch 3238244 or upgrade to 9.2.0.5 or higher.

Hi Frank,

I'm on RH ES 3.0 with 9.2.0.6 and still can't start the agent. Any ideas?

Hello,

Try;
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
export LDEMULATION=elf_i386_glibc21
make -f ins_oemagent.mk install

and

agentctl start

This has worked for me in past.
