Hi all,
I have an curious problem on installation on a HP/UX 11.11 Box.
First installation works, but the library bindings are broken, so I try to make a de-install and reinstall. But now I got the message that the installation process is not able to write into /tmp/lost+found. If I provide write to this he wants to write to /tmp/.AgentSockets.
Does anyone know whats going wrong now ?
I need to install Oracle on that box
BTW: I use PFS-Mount for mounting the CDROM

Two things to check:
1. Does your /tmp directory have the correct privs?
$ ls -ld /tmp
drwxrwxrwt 11 root sys 1640 Mar 18 11:16 /tmp
2. Check your "installActions*.log" file in .../oraInventory/logs for details about what the installer is doing.
