Has anyone had good results from extending the Text Knowledge Base?

I have extended mine with industry specific terms, and am now attempting to create themes on a simple document which contains only industry specific terms, but nothing is being returned. It sort of looks like the extension isn't being recognized. Has anyone seen this sort of behaviour before?

I've used it quite a bit. Can you post an example, and perhaps we can find the cause?
