I have to FTP files from an AS400 to the Oracle server. Then I have to load the tables simultaneously so that Oracle can see the key between these two tables. Does anyone have any examples I can start with? Are there any peculiarities I need to be aware of? Can I do this using sqlldr as part of a Unix script, or do I need to go over to PL/SQL?

Hi,

Depending on your requirements, SQL*Loader should do just fine. Look at the examples of loading into multiple tables simultaneously in the Oracle Utilities Users Guide. Also, have a look at this: Can one load data into multiple tables at once?

Best regards.
