I'm getting the following error when trying to create a database using the Database Configuration Assistant....

ORA-20003: Shared pool size too low
ORA-06512: at line 53

I've tried playing around with the memory allocation but still seem to get this error.

By no means am I a DBA, so excuse the newbieness factor, I'm really just trying to set this up on a development box to do some testing.

Cheers!

What value have you specified for the shared pool? A shared pool size of at least 40MB is recommended.

Best regards.

Apparently I'm losing my marbles because I changed the size and it seemed to work fine this time, oh well! Smile
