Received the following error when exporting from 9i to 8.05 using exp80:

Connected to: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
JServer Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
Export done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and UTF8 NCHAR character set
Note: grants on tables/views/sequences/roles will not be exported

About to export specified users ...
. exporting foreign function library names for user INTERTOCLIENT
. exporting object type definitions for user INTERTOCLIENT
About to export INTERTOCLIENT's objects ...
. exporting database links
. exporting sequence numbers
. exporting cluster definitions
. about to export INTERTOCLIENT's tables via Conventional Path ...
. . exporting table APPLICATIONPATHS 27 rows exported
. . exporting table ARCHITECTPROFILE 365 rows exported
. . exporting table ARCHIVEDPROJECTTOTALS 0 rows exported
.........
......... Note: all tables exported successfully
.........
. exporting synonyms
. exporting views
. exporting stored procedures
. exporting referential integrity constraints
. exporting triggers
EXP-00054: no storage definition found for partitioned object (29795)
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

I had previously exported from 9i to 9i with no problem.

Does any one know how to fix......thanks.

I'm not surprised that this gives problems. 8.0.5 is desupported for ages now (June 2000) so contacting Oracle support won't help either.


this is what OERR tells me:
EXP-00054: no storage definition found for partitioned object (name)

Cause: Could not find the storage definitions for partitioned table/index.

Action: Record the error messages that follow and report this to Oracle Worldwide Support as an Export internal error.


Why would one use a desupported RDBMS version? Not a production environment I hope...
