Hi experts,

I am using Oracle 9.2.0.5 32-bit on Windows-Xp.
I wanted to know some of the major differences between 32-bit oracle and 64-bit oracle database.

Pls. give me ur answers as soon as possible.

The 64-bits version is meant for 64-bits hardware/OS-es exclusively.
Windows XP is not 64-bits, so you're bound to the 32 bit version.

The difference is 32-bit and 64-bit computing. For higher processing, 64 is better....

but then 64-bit oracle runs on 64-bit hardware....hope you have that.

I am running 64-bit oracle in AIX5L...started with oracle 817 64 bit and now 9.2 64 bit.
