The overall responsibility is to develop new DSS applications and support existing applications using Microstrategy v7.0 including the definition of business requirements for DSS applications, Programming and testing and Support and Maintenance
Position reports to the Project lead/project manager of Data Warehousing and Decision Support and supervises a group of Programmers
Requirements Include:
• Experience with Microstratey 7.0 or earlier versions preferred.
• Experience with other OLAP or reporting tools.
• At least 3-5 years of general IT experience.
• 1-2 years of experience with Decision Support or Data warehousing applications.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
From a skill standpoint, the person filling this position should have experience in at least some of the following areas:
• OLAP development in MicroStrategy or other OLAP tools
• SQL and general database knowledge
• ETL and data warehousing process
• ‘Star Schema’ data modeling
