Hello Friends,
I'm planning to take OCP exams. Has anyone attended the Instructor-led training course conducted by Oracle Training Center? Is it worth having?

I don't know the courses but the books are worth to have. If they give you "Oracle University" books, you will have no problem passing the exams.

The OLT are good. The OCP exams are based on the material covered in the OLT classes.
But because of the price, I think that the best way to prepare for the OCP exams is with the practice exams found at www.selftestsoftware.com. These practice exams have about 300 questions and cost about $100 each. They are good because they have the answers as well as the explanations for the answers. I have purchases about six of these practice tests.
Also, the Exam Cram series by Coriolis are good. These follow the Oracle classes pretty closesly and they have 10 to 20 questions per chapter.
I have used these methods to pass 5 exams and I am certified in Oracle 8 and Oracle 8i. I am presently studying for the 9i New Features exam.

BUT IF RECESSION WASNT HERE NO MOTHER WOULD BOTHER WITH THESE EXAMS...ITS YOUR LAST CONTRACT THAT COUNTS !!!!!!!!! 5 YEARS PLUS EXPERINCE MEANS MORE THAN ANY OCP.
