Position Title: Applic. System Admin -Oracle Financials
Location: Montreal, (Quebec) Canada
Salary: up to 80K/year (CDN) (negotiable) depending on experience
Citizenship: (Canadian required for travel to the US/currently to Chicago)
candidates willing to relocate to Montreal will be considered as well
Travel: 80-90% to US clients
JOB SUMMARY
The Application System Administrator (ASA) will work within the Data Management Team. The ASA will report directly to the Technical Manager. The ASA will be responsible for administration tasks surrounding approximately 10 Oracle Financial installations that are ‘Multi-Organizational’ as well as multilingual. At times this role will be to help with complex/non-standard technical issues that cannot be solved by less experienced technical team members on the project.
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
· Oracle RDBMS V 7 or higher (4 years)
· Oracle Financials 10.7 SC (3 year)
· Application system administration experience (3 years)
· working knowledge of development methodologies
· SQL
· PL/SQL
· working knowledge of Developer/2000
· working knowledge of Designer/2000
· working knowledge of AR,AP,GL,FA, PA
· organization and coordination of multiple initiatives
· business writing
· ability to work within a team framework
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Advanced technical ‘trouble shooting’
· Application user maintenance
· Application responsibility maintenance
· Application Profile Maintenance
· Application security
· Application Object Library (AOL) maintenance
· Printer management for the application
· Concurrent programs management and scheduling
· Manage all aspects of flexfields within the application
· Play integral role within multi-organizational definition and maintenance
· Work with Release Management Team to ensure migration/installation within application
· Application ‘trouble shooting’
· Resolve production ‘ISSUES’ that are application specific
· Advanced Application ‘trouble shooting’
· Installation/Maintenance of all project related softwares
