Hi
Can I do a complete recovery, If I have lost a archive/online redolog file.
Scenario,
I have a full online backup taken on 3rd of this month and there after I do not have any successful incremental or full backups taken since that time, all I have is the archive redologs, In this process I have lost one of the online redo log file that has been generated on 4th of this month.
If in this case can I still recover my database by restoring the full backup taken on 3rd to till the current day say 7 or 8th of this month by applying the archive redo logs, even though I have lost one redolog that was generated on 4th.
Your help is most needed.
