We are facing db connection delays sometimes. The connections are through proxy user from the jdbc connections and the db configured as dedicated server. The min connections are set to 50 so we see 50 connections establsihed initially through the proxy user. The usual db connection from the pool is around 20-50 ms. But sometimes it goes to 10-20 seconds. And somedays the avg connection time goes to around 30 seconds. Any suggestions on configuration settings or fine tuning.
