1) how many hard disk drives can be there in a system .

u can have min one and one more
then make them master and slave
and u can have more acc to configuration of the machine
i have told u for micro computers
yes u can play ur dvd from the cd rom

Play dvd with cd player...
well my comp logic says its all bull s***.
I mean at least u will require a new device driver(assuming firstly that the hardware can actually read from teh DVD).
Actually the DVD is not to CD what mp3 is to wav.
Its not a diff way to compression of the data... but i guess its also a different way to store it.
dvd->cd is possible , but cd -> dvd. NO WAY!
