Getting the following error while installing Oracle8i personal edition on Win2k Prof/Service Pack 4 :
"INVALID STAGING AREA.THERE ARE NO TOP LEVEL COMPONENTS FOR WINDOWS NT AVAILABLE FOR INSTALL FROM THIS STAGING AREA".
Please help...

your virtaul memory is not enough.
Oracle 8i needs atleast 128 Megs of ram
and virtual Mem atleas 3xRAM.
increaase Virtual Mem and try again

plz help me to install of oracle 8i over Windows 2000 pprofessional. When i install this, It always shows error like " Invalid Staging Area ".
So if you have any solution regarding this, then plz help me. I will be very thankful to u for this.

Invalid staging area. There are no top level components for Windows NT available for install from this staging area

When I install the oracle 8i in windows 2000 server this error message is occured
