I am working in Zimbabwe as a Technical Support Engineer, I had a client crying for a replacement of their brand new P4 because of this error. This made me reconfigure my VGA card but to no vain. That is when I turned to the oracle metalink which was sending me around in circles. I then checked your solution at it precisely described the solution process. Thanks that was elaborate and accurate.
