i just want to know if oracle 8i works on windows Me
edition.has anyone succesfully installed it?

I would recommend you to upgrade or even downgrade your OS. WinMe is the worst OS even came out after Win95 era.
It's a Win9x trying to be WinNt. I've encounter a lot of problems with the OS not only Oracle issues. FYI, I'm currently developing software solution using Oracle8i.

i will see the documentation. in that documentation goto the install folder and click the setup.exe file .i am trying the same way but it was not installed. please give me your valueble solutions.
