error while install oracle8i [message #98999]

i am using linux7.2 and oracle8i.after setting all the parameters.when i run

$sh runInstaller
Initializing Java Virtual Machine from ../stage/components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/datafiles/expanded/linux/bin/jre.please wait....

after this it is not running.wat the error.

is there any package that i need to run.if there were can i download it.

Install jre patch or install an updated jdk
i think that will solve the issue
but u also have to update param.h
