How do you ftp files using ssh. either from desktop to server or from server to server.

Hi,

Most ssh distributions provide two ways to copy files - sftp (Secure File Transfer) and scp (Secure Copy). Sftp and scp don't require any dedicated daemon processes since they connect to "sshd" servers.
