Hi, experts:

I installed oracle database 8.1.7 on Sun Solairs 5.8. It works ervy well. I tried to install developer 6i on the same server serveral times, but in vain. I installed oracle 8i and dev 6i on win2000 without any problem while I put them in the different HOME. I tried the same way with my Sun system, but still cannot install. can database and dev be installed on the same machine for UNIX OS? pls help me out.

My dear friend , dev2000 is front end software. So it will be loaded on those machines,on which Bill Gates supplied on/off, virus sensitive operating system
is loaded
