Our Client is a UK based major supplier to the international tobacco manufacturing
industry, currently seeking Oracle Application Database Administrators. You will be
part of DBA team responsible for supporting projects in UK area.
Responsibilities:
DBA is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and
performance tuning of Oracle Financials Database Systems. The Oracle DBA
will configure database instances and physical data structures, performance
tuning and provide system support for the financial databases, resolve database
conflicts, develop and perform backups, restore procedures, and perform UNIX
administration duties.
Skills:
BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems
One year plus Oracle Finacial DBA.
Three years plus Oracle DBA.
HP-Unix experience preferred.
Areas:
Solid understanding of core DBA functions
Knowledge of ERP; Hands-on experience with Oracle Applications 10.7 SC/NCA etc.
Physical Database Administration experience with Oracle 7 and/or Oracle 8 running under Unix/NT.
OCP DBA would be preferred
