Hi,
We had seen the pre-installation guide for installing Oracle 8.1.6 on Linux 7.1. But, while running the command "./runInstaller", we are prompted with the words
"Initializing Java Virtual Machine from ../stage/Components/Oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/Datafiles/Expanded/linux/bin/jre. Please wait..."
But after this there is NO RESPONSE from the CD media as well as from the HDD.
How to proceed? Pl. guide us in this regard.
