ORACLE 10 g

In a new table, with two keys (not primary) I insert about 30.000 rows , command a INSERT INTO table Values(....). I use a SQLPASSTHROUGH command from a client (ODBC). Time for the operation: 325 sec.

The same command in MS SQL2000 is 32 sec.

Is there any possibility to have a parameter on INSERT for speeding it ?

Hi,

You can use APPEND HINT for improving performance of insert statement.
