We are unable to successfully implement a type 2 scd as illustrated in the OWB document called "B12151_01.pdf".
It uses a splitter and merge task to facilitate the addition of a type 2 record. In addition, the example adds a column called "MATCHING" so that the update can be done against a preexisting surrogate key.
The problem we are having is that we cannot seem to populate the "MATCHING" column and the update fails. There is a comment in the documentation that the "MATCHING" column should be bound to the surrogate key column. However, the bound name property is read only and cannot be changed.
