Hi,

I'm using Weblogic 7 with Oracle 8.1.7 client/server, and I'm using Oracle's classes12.zip as JDBC driver. I´m using URL jdbc:oracle:oci8: and driver:oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

In my jdbc.log I'm watching that when I perform a select using preparedStatement class, it seems to recover records from 10 by 10. After 10 first records, it performs a fetch instrucion to load 10 more records.

What does that 'fetch' instrucion mean? Does it only load 10 records, and after that, it asks 10 more to DBMS? If so, how can I change that value? Which should be the best value for a suitable server performance?
