I'm trying to connect to Oracle8 with Oracle Thin Client inside a servlet.
This is the error msg that I keep getting.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
However, I created a test cless using the same settings and I get the data without any problems.
Any assistance is appreciated

I encountered a similar problem some time ago, if you can access oracle dbms with the same environment variable settings from a standalone java program but stuck from a servlet: try this...
just drop classes12.zip(or whatever version) into your JAVA_HOMEjrelibext (on my computer i put it into C:jdk1.3.1_02jrelibext)
i hope this helps...
