PRinting Chinese Characters using Reports [message #89887]

Hi,

�I created a simple SQL*PLUS report with one SELECT statement, that actually selects address1,address2 from a table for one customer.

The address1 and address2 data is in Chinese. When i run this report in Oracle Applications (11i) , the output is in chinese. But when i try to print it to one of our printers, which were setup as Post Script , it do not print the Chinese characters, instead it shows some weird characters.

But when we try to print a Standard Oracle report , it prints the Chinese Characters. When i look at the Oracle report, i do not see anything different. It is not sending any commands to the printer.

Have any of you encountered this.
