Dear all.. I am facing a problem -Obviously!-… I am not able to print any report from my application..
Tow types of report are there, .rep and .exe (Proc*) reports.
I am able to view the reports on screen but when trying to print I get different messages, some times I get REP-1848 , REP-1849 or illegal operation, I am able to view the reports without any problem for some reports, I am directly sending the output to the printer with out any viewing.. But to my surprise, the report background engine itself will not start..
Guys, save my life and tell me that you know the reason behind this mystery and what is the solution…
Database: 9.2.0.1.0
Application: client server
Development tools: Report Builder 6.0.8.18.0, Forms [[32 Bit]] Version 6.0.8.18.3
Client’s platform: Windows 2000.
Printer used: HP1200
Printer drivers tested: PCL 5e, PCL6 and PS.
