Dear Sir/Madam I have a problem related to oracle report. Suppose i have one table which contain two column, name and age and in this column 10 record is there . when i run this report definitly it will display 10 records but i need that it should 10 records along with serial number like 1 2 3 4 5------10 vertically.and this serial number is not data base column.So please help be and send the replly on my email as soon as possible.

Hi Silver,
You can Create one Summary Column for Serial number.
In the property of Summary Column
Summary :-
Function - Count
Source - Database column name
Reset at- Group,report Or page.
select Count Function instead of Sum. and on which database column you want to count so that it can generate serial no. and reset on any group or report level that also you have to mention.
i think you are looking for this..........
