I require some clarification regarding Draft mode printouts in D2K reports.

I have done every thing like (As suggested in D2K Reports online help)
1) Property Pallette->Character mode->Design in Chracter->yes
2) System mode->Intial Value->Character
3) Layout model->format->layout option->rulers->units to character cells
4) No of snap points per grid spacing = 1
5) menu bar->view->snap to grid check
6) tools->preferences->horizontal interfield =1 and verticle =0
7) Format->font->Courier Regular etc getting printouts.

But we I am not getting the same draft mode as we used to get in
case of DOS or UNIX draft printouts. Presently in D2K reports I have selected
Courier, Regular font. This is also like graphic printouts only.

I want to get same draft quality as we used to get in DOS or UNIX draft printouts (ie especially each alphabet should be printed in dots in Dot Matrix printer) so that maximum speed can be achived in reports printing.

Kindly help me by mailing to rangagm@hotmail.com

PLEASE TRY 0UT THE FOLLOWING ALSO

IN SYSTEM MODE -> DESFORMAT -> REMOVE DFLT FROM
INITIAL VALUE AND KEEP THE PROPERTY BLANK.

MODE -> SET INITIAL VALUE -> CHARACTER

ALSO IN THE REPORT PROPERTY SET DESIGN IN
CHARACTER UNITS -> YES.

WE ARE REGULARLY TAKING CHARACTER BASED REPORTS
ONLY IN OUR OFFICE USING THESE PARAMETERS.

PLEASE TRY IT AGAIN AND COME BACK TO ME

THANKS AND WISH YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR
